Nyjer (heat-treated thistle seed) is an extremely popular food to offer our small winter finches.  Because of its high oil and fat content, wintering finches will often rely heavily on this food source during the cold winter months.  Nyjer is available in 10-pound bags only and requires the use of a small-port finch feeder or feeder tray.
